Who we are

TemplateBot (“we”, “us”) operates templatebot.lol, a marketplace for Grok Bot templates. We are not affiliated with xAI. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

• Account data — when you sign in with Clerk: identifiers such as user id, email, and profile details Clerk provides to us.
• Listings you publish — share links, titles, descriptions, instructions, setup notes, categories, integrations, pricing, and related metadata we fetch from x.ai when you paste a Bot link.
• Usage — votes, clicks, copies, browse filters, and basic device/browser information needed to run the site (including a voter cookie for anonymous upvotes).
• Payments — checkout is handled by Dodo Payments. We receive payment status, amounts, and ids needed to credit sellers and fulfill purchases. We do not store full card numbers.

How we use information

• Operate the marketplace (browse, submit, buy, boost, earnings).
• Authenticate you and secure accounts.
• Process payments, fees, credits, and payout requests.
• Improve ranking, reliability, and abuse prevention.
• Communicate about your account, purchases, or service changes.

Processors and third parties

We use service providers to run TemplateBot, including:

• Clerk for authentication
• Dodo Payments for checkout and payment processing
• Cloudflare for hosting, CDN, and related infrastructure
• x.ai when fetching public Bot share pages you submit

Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Template content you publish is public on TemplateBot.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage for sign-in sessions (via Clerk), anonymous voting, and essential site operation. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may stop working.

Retention

We keep account, listing, purchase, and earnings records as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may ask us to delete your account data; some records (for example payment history) may be retained where required.

Your choices

You can update or delete listings you own, close your Clerk account, and contact us about access or deletion requests. Public templates you published may remain visible until removed from the marketplace.
